WizAuth

Terms of Service

Last updated October 14, 2026

These terms apply when you use WizAuth: the WizAuth apps for Android and iPhone, the WizAuth browser extension, and the service at wizauth.net (together, “WizAuth”), provided by WizPro Software (“WizPro”, “we”). By creating an account or using WizAuth, you agree to them. If you use WizAuth for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you’re allowed to.

Your master password is yours alone. WizAuth is end-to-end encrypted: we never receive your master password and can’t reset it. If you lose both your master password and your recovery key, nobody, including WizPro, can get your vault back. Keep your recovery key somewhere safe.

Your account

  • You need to give a working email address, and you must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires).
  • You’re responsible for your master password, your recovery key, the devices you sign in on, and what happens in your account. Tell us straight away at support@wizprosoftware.com if you think someone else has got in.
  • Keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose. WizAuth lets you export your vault at any time, and we recommend you do so from time to time.

Personal and Business plans

  • The Personal plan is free.
  • Business plans are priced per user per month, as shown on wizauth.net, and are set up with us directly. Billing details, such as the number of users, the billing period and invoicing, are agreed when the plan is set up.
  • On a Business plan, accounts belong to the organization. Its administrators can add and remove members, manage shared folders and policies, and see its audit log. They can’t read a member’s personal vault items, which stay end-to-end encrypted.
  • If we change prices, we’ll tell Business customers in advance, and the change applies from the next billing period.

Connected apps

You can link business apps such as IT-ServiceWiz to WizAuth, so that they can ask you to approve sign-ins and send credentials to your account. Those apps are run under their own terms. Linking one lets it send you sign-in requests and items, and you can disconnect it at any time in Settings → Connected apps.

Acceptable use

Don’t use WizAuth to:

  • break the law, or store credentials you aren’t authorized to hold;
  • get into accounts or systems that aren’t yours;
  • overload, attack, or get around the security or limits of WizAuth or other people’s accounts;
  • copy, resell, or offer WizAuth as your own service.

Security research done in good faith is welcome. Please report problems privately to support@wizprosoftware.com, give us a reasonable time to fix them, and don’t access other people’s data while you look.

Our service

  • We work to keep WizAuth secure and available, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Your vault stays on your devices too, so it keeps working offline.
  • We may change or improve WizAuth over time. If we remove something important you rely on, we’ll tell you in advance where we can.
  • WizAuth’s apps, extension, code, name and logo belong to WizPro. These terms let you use them, and don’t transfer ownership.
  • Your data is yours. You give us only the permission we need to store and sync it for you.

Ending

  • You can stop using WizAuth and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account).
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Unless it’s urgent or the law prevents it, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

Disclaimers and liability

WizAuth is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, WizPro makes no warranties beyond those in these terms. WizPro isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by a lost master password and recovery key, a compromised device, or a connected app. WizPro’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for WizAuth in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you haven’t paid anything. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above. If a change matters, we’ll also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using WizAuth after that, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.
